"Annually" book 2021 was accompanied by a two-track CD single featuring a dramatic new song, almost ten minutes long, entitled “Cricket wife”, plus the lockdown version of “West End girls” which PSB debuted online in June last year. “Cricket wife” uses orchestral sounds and was written as a classical-style instrumental piece by Chris over which Neil sang lyrics taken from a poem he had written. Both Chris and Neil recorded their parts at their homes and Pete Gleadall mixed the final track. Artwork is by Farrow. Song was performed live at Schöne Tone concert, presented by Sven Helbig in Berlin on Novembert 10th, 2023.
